to the Self-Realization Fellowship Temple at Encinitas, California.
This temple is a branch of Self-Realization
Fellowship, a worldwide religious organization founded by
Paramahansa Yogananda in 1920 to teach scientific techniques
of meditation that will lead to a direct, personal relationship with God.
These
techniques are available in a series of weekly
lessons sent to your home from our international headquarters
in Los Angeles, California. The lessons contain techniques of energization,
concentration, meditation, and the higher technique of Kriya Yoga,
as well as instructions on how to live a balanced material and spiritual
life.
For further information we suggest that you visit our bookroom, located on the north side of the Temple patio. It is open after services both on Sunday morning and Thursday evening. You are also warmly invited to stop by the information tables which are set up after Sunday morning services in the patio area north of the temple..
As an introduction, we suggest that you read Paramahansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi. Copies of this spiritual classic are available in the Bookroom or in bookstores.
